A village in Suffolk is poised to host a charity auction of celebrity items in aid of .

Walberswick fashion show will auction a Jo Brand designer jacket, Davina McCall dresses, a t-shirt signed by Twiggy, a shrug owned by Geri Halliwell and one of Clive Anderson's ties. The show is part of a larger weekend event taking place on March 6th, 7th and 8th, which will involve a 1960s groove night at the village hall, pony rides, a sing-along screening of the film Mama Mia and a car boot sale. Its team of volunteers hopes to raise thousands of pounds for Red Nose Day. Main organiser Angie Power told the East Anglian Daily Times: "There is something for everyone over this weekend from children to adults to enjoy and hopefully people will don a red nose and spend lots of money."

Last year, Comic Relief raised millions of pounds for charity projects in countries all over the world, including some of the poorest nations in Africa.
