The Leeds United team donned high heels to endorse the High Heel-a-thon, in aid of Breast Cancer Haven. The boys from Elland Road showed their support by wearing high heels and feather boas and bright pink t-shirts. Although footie fans can't expect to see their team tottering around the pitch in stilettos, as a worthwhile training exercise they certainly got into the spirit. The United boys were pretty as a picture, although more than a little concerned about damaging their reputations with supporters!

Stix , the Whites' players liaison officer, said, "I'm not sure we'll be seeing the boys scoring goals in those high heels, but hopefully it will help to endorse the event and even persuade the fans to sign up for the High Heel-a-thon. We think it's a fantastic event!"
