men and women who have died in military service to their country during the township’s annual Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony on Monday, May 25. The parade kicks off on Main Street at 11 a.m.  The Township Council is inviting area veterans to march in the parade or join them in a vehicle. To participate as a veteran, or as a marching unit or decorated bicycle, contact the township by May 20. In the event of inclement weather, the parade will be cancelled, but a ceremony will be held at noon at the VFW Post 7677 on Church Road. Summer Festival of Art, Food and Wine Medford will celebrate art, music, food and wine during the 17th annual Summer Festival of Art, Food and Wine scheduled for Sunday, June 7 from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Main Street will be alive with a varied array of bands and small ensembles performing music while vintners from South Jersey will line Bank Street with wines available for sample and purchase. In addition, some of Medford’s acclaimed local restaurants will be serving their specialties for sampling. For those who want to sample wines, an admission bracelets and a collectible wine glass will be available for $10 for adults 21 and over.
