has organised a fun day for a children’s charity in tribute to her friend’s son, who died two years ago. On September 6 Anne-Marie Noon will host the event, at the Quarry Bank Inn, on Bloomsbury Lane, for Francis House Children’s Hospice, which provides care for children and young adults with life threatening conditions. Anne- Marie said: “Francis House is a charity that is especially close to my heart as my friend’s son died there just over two years ago. “In the past I have jumped out of an aeroplane and last year abseiled down Old Trafford Football Club to raise funds, that’s as well as our yearly Francis House fundraiser, which has been going for three years at the pub.
“We have lots of activities for the children too on the day as well as name the bear and rides in the car park.â€
